How will billing work?

For monthly plans, billing occurs on the first of each month. If you sign up at any other point during the month, your first billing cycle will be prorated based on your start date. For annual plans, you pay the full annual amount upfront at the time of purchase. Your credits are allocated on a monthly basis, and your plan renews annually.

Will I receive an invoice for credit purchases?

Yes. Invoices will be generated and sent for all credit purchases.

Can I set up auto-renewal for credits?

Yes. If you're on a monthly subscription with a credit card on file, your credits will automatically renew each month based on your selected bundle. If you're on an annual subscription, your credits are allocated monthly throughout your 12-month term, and your plan renews automatically at the end of the term.

Do you support multiple payment methods?

We currently support credit card payments for monthly subscriptions. For annual or enterprise subscriptions, additional payment options may be available. Please contact us for details.

What happens if a payment fails or is late?

If a payment fails, you'll be notified immediately. We'll make several retry attempts before pausing access to the platform. You can update your payment method anytime from your dashboard.

How will my invoices change under the new credit model?

Invoices will now include a line item for your credit bundle, with the quantity representing the number of credits purchased. Your total will reflect the cost of that bundle for the billing period.

Can I see a detailed breakdown of credit usage on my invoice?

Credit usage details are not included on the invoice, but you can view your usage and balance in the Imgix dashboard's analytics section.

Can I pay in a different currency other than USD?

At this time, we are only accepting USD.

How are overages handled on annual plans?

Overages on annual plans work the same way as monthly plans. If you exceed your monthly credit allocation, you can continue using Imgix at 120% of the standard per-credit rate for your tier, up to 3x your monthly allocation. Overage charges are based on the monthly per-credit rate (not the discounted annual rate) and are invoiced as a one-time charge to your card on file when incurred. For example, if you're on the Starter Annual plan, your overage rate would be $0.30 per credit (1.2x the $0.25 monthly rate), not 1.2x the $0.21 annual rate.

Does my annual plan auto-renew?

Yes. Annual plans renew automatically at the end of your 12-month term unless you cancel before the renewal date. If you'd like to cancel, you can do so at any time from the Imgix dashboard. Your service will remain active through the end of your paid term, and the plan simply won't renew.
